The Detroit Grand Pubahs have been synonymous with cheeky mischief techno (that’s a new genre by the way) ever since their huge cult single “Sandwiches”. Every good record collection should have a copy.

Well since that release way back in 2000 the duo have been tearing it up at venues around the world, dropping their mix of funk, booty and blistering techno. Now in 2008 the boys are dropping more bombs fresh from their new album “Nuttin Butt Funk”. Check out the Mysterious Mr O’s live mix from Subfloor on Radio Magnetic for a quick feel of their booty shaking club sets.

On “Nuttin Butt Funk” you can hear the Pubahs flexing their production muscle across wigged-out electro, straight up dancefloor techno, strung out Detroit, the odd comedy interlude and twisted funk rock. The album is out now on the Pubah’s own label Det.Ele.Funk (Detoirt Electro Funk) but don;t just take our word on how good it is!
