As of this Saturday Scotland and the UK will have a new record label to add to a growing list of indies except that this one has some serious potential.
Seinan Music is the brain child of up and coming techno producer Droido and if this man’s production is anything to go by then Seinan will be putting out some essential plastic over the coming winter months and beyond.
To celebrate the launch of the new label Droido has pulled out the stops with a launch party in Glasgow’s Admiral featuring Casa Futura, the Seinan DJs, Droido’s new live setup Sei A (which features vocals by Sara Pickin and Martin Bongo on percussion) as well as Fcomm’s Alexkid to finish things off.
The first release on seinan Music will be from Sei A and features remixes from Milton Jackson and Belfast’s Timmy Jackson.

Droido’s new live project Sei A are definitely one to look out for. Droido’s immaculate techno production skills work as a perfect backdrop to Sara Pickin’s vocals and both were accompanied by Mr Bongo’s percussion which at no point sounded as if it was over taking the music which can happen very easily. I’d highly recommend you go see them if you get the chance.
