Thats the claim of new music download service 10 Tracks. Each month the site will release a selection of 10 tracks that can be downloaded for the sum of one British pound.

The service was launched earlier in October by a collection of Scottish music insiders and has already been making waves in the music and media industries. Not least because the tracks come appropriately licensed, free of DRM, and the bands get paid for each purchase.

There are currently 2 channels on 10 Tracks, each with 10 features songs available for download for a single pound or at £0.30 a pop. This month the Police Box channel offers a selection of Folk, Electronica and contemporary Pop while international DJ duo Optimo present a selection of their current favourites in their own signature style.
