Bloc Party were interrogated by Slabovian reporter, Pavlov, at this year’s muddy Hydro Connect music festival.
The band, not usually associated with voicing political views, called for Slabovians to “overturn their communist dictator and embrace capitalism”.
Rumours that A Weekend in the City was to be re-leased on Slabvoian based record label Fat Pig Records, have been quashed. “Bloc Party are capitalist sell outs and we will not be licensing any of their music in Slabovia,” said label boss, Rimsky Spector.
