Magnetic News:
16.01.09 | Radio Magnetic’s Best of ‘08

Well we’re in the full swing of 2009 so it’s about time we gave you Radio Magnetic’s run down of what kept our feet tapping and fingers snapping during 2008.

Radio Magnetic had an amazing 12 months last year with new shows like Electorinc Explorations and Jim Gellatly’s New Music joining the station, amazing guest mixes form the likes of Diplo and Santogold as well as complete redesign of the whole site thanks to our pals at Surface Pressure (love you).

On top of that 2008 was another brilliant year for music. Yes I know that there were hundreds of rubbish electro remixes of pop and indie tracks from bedroom producers the world over. But that’s why we’re here, to sort out the good from the bad, the wheat from the chaf, the stupendous from the pish.

So here it is a list of some of the best shows and features to grace the station in 2008.

Enjoy every last minute!!

  1. Great to see Jim Gellatly’s podcast from Edinburgh Zoo featuring – not least due to Tourist featuring alongside The Hip Parade and Tommy Reilly who have since got some recognition.

    Surely 2009 will be Tourist’s year…………………..
