It’s hard to believe that this compilation marks 15 of some of Europe’s best electronic music from the Cologne based electronic salad bar known as Kompakt.

For those that are new to what they do, Kompakt came together as a partnership between techno producers Michael Mayer, Wolfgang Voigt (aka Gas, Mike Ink, M:I:5, etc), Juergen Paape and Reinhard Voigt initially as a record shop that today boasts pretty much every service a musician could ever dream of. From the in house record labels, record shop, distribution hub, recording studios, booking and management agency Kompakt strives to keep to it’s DIY roots by putting music first.  To celebrate this amazing heritage Kompact released their most recent compilation called TOTAL 9 and this is what they had to say…
