Ahead of their Sub Club gig with the vary talented Onur Ozer, Bigfoot’s Tea Party drop a cheeky wee mix for the Little Rock boys on RM.

Bigfoot’s Tea Party have been throwing parties in Glasgow for the past couple of years, bringing together the best in techno, house, minimal and pure jacking beats.

Made up of a rotating cast of members, including international DJs Simon Stokes and Hans Boufmyre (head of Sleaze Records), they’ve brought the likes of Edu Imbernon, Tim Xavier, Hermanez and Mr. Copy to venues across Glasgow; coupling every event with visual performances, they’ve built a reputation for unique live experiences.

Friday 18 March sees them hitting the big time with a shot at Glasgow’s most important venue, the Sub Club. Alongside the usual melange of visuals and beats, they’re bringing Onur Ozer to spin his unique blend take on minimal house. Should be awesome – check out his Watergate mix.

Wednesday 9 February is International SoundCloud meet-up day, with SoundCloud users from across the world taking part in live events; curating Glasgow’s meet-up, which features discussions, talks from Scottish music industry figures, and a music swap-meet, are Team Little Rock and Microrave Records. The event runs from 8pm – 12 at Stereo (Renfield Lane), and is completely free. All tracks in this compilation are available as free downloads.

Former head of the pioneering Skull Disco label, and modern beat innovator Shackleton lays down some tracks for the Little Rock crew, in support of his forthcoming Fabric mix CD

It’s with great pleasure that we welcome the critically-acclaimed Shackleton to Radio Magnetic. Blending dubstep, minimalism, drone and percussive workouts, the limited 12″s on his Skull Disco platform re-invented bass music and modern production styles.

His work since the closure of Skull Disco (with the Soundbwoy’s Grave Get Desecrated by Vandals CD) has been equally impressive, with the release of an album on Perlon, extensive live and DJ dates and the launch of a new label Woe To The Septic Heart. His mix for Fabric drops next week.
