rizlariverboat 450Exclusive disco mix online from Glasgow’s Melting Pot on the run up to the Rizla Riverboat Shuffle, featuring Optimo, Retro/Grade and Melting Pot DJs.

On Friday 6 August the good paddle steamer, Waverley, sets sail again with the good people at Optimo and Melting Pot at the musical helm for the inaugural Rizla Riverboat Shuffle.

After the steamer has docked at 11pm, the partying continues at the Sub Club, where Serge Santiago and Tom Neville aka Retro/Grade will be playing live and giving us a sneak preview of their much anticipated debut album. Optimo and Melting Pot DJs will also be on hand to keep things rocking!

Check out our preview mix from Melting Pot‘s Andrew Pirie recorded live at the club when Melting Pot and Tim Sweeney entertained the disco faithful back in May.

Friday 6 August 8pm – 3am. The boat leaves promptly at 8pm, so get yourself to Glasgow Science Centre by 7.45pm

Tickets: £25 for boat party, £28 for boat party and after party and they’re available from Aspecto, Cafe Rio and Rub A Dub Records.
