Gilles Peterson hangs out with young jazz singer and Bristol-based beats producer Ben Westbeech as he jams with Brasilian soul jazz singer Tita Lima.

Ben and Tita hit it off together musically and we hear snippets from the rehearsal process plus exclusive live recordings.

While he was in Sao Paulo, Ben spent a wad of cash at infamous record shop Eric’s Disco. Gilles finds out how important and influential Eric was in turning Far Out Records boss Joe Davis on to Brasilian music, which in turn inspired Gilles and helped to create a whole cross cultural scene in the UK.

We also cross borders with new Far Out act Zeep (aka Nina Miranda and Chris Franck from Da Lata and Smoke City).
