Soma’s young team has been growing and evolving over the past year into a formidable force with the likes of Decimal, Harvey McKay and Connect Festival guest performer, Mr Copy.

Michael Weldon, aka Mr. Copy,  has become a familiar name on the Scottish club circuit which showed as the Unknown Pleasures tent went from a family and some girl still up from Friday night to half full 5 minutes before Copy’s Scheduled set.->

In July last year, at the tender age of 19, Mr. Copy was one of the winners in the Beatport remix competition for Slam’s ‘We’re Not Here’ single, but it wasn’t until he was contacted to tell him of the win that Soma realised his Glasgow roots. Heralding from the south-side of the river, Copy had been playing right under Soma’s nose the whole time.
