We kick off our series of fortnightly live sessions from the Kelburn Garden Party 2009 with this recording of Tru Thoughts and Ninja Tunes affiliated experimental and down-tempo cheeky monkey Bonobo.
Bonobo’s ethereal, jazz infused beats set the scene and tempo for a festival with a difference and paved the way for the rest of the weekend’s laid back musical atmosphere. Complimenting the magical surroundings of the Kelburn Garden grounds perfectly.
They played at the festival on the evening of Saturday 20 June on the main stage and were definitely one of Radio Magnetic’s many highlights. Check out the recording right here.
