Two of the most dynamic, forward thinking, exciting and engaging traditional celtic music acts performing today join forces on the first Tune Up Tour of 2010. Breabach and le Vent du Nord combine a vast array of cultural folk influences in their respective repertoires.
Breabach, based in Scotland and La Vent Du Nord from Canada start their collaborative tour on Thursday 28 January at Celtic Connections. Both bands are well know to audiences across Scotland, but as a combined force, their strength is only now to be discovered.
In addition to each band performing music from its home country, they will also explore and develop a combined performance, taking elements from Scottish, Canadian, French, Irish and folk music from further afield for what should be a truly memorable spectable.
