Troxler: Aphrika – The definition of groove + transsexual vocal sprinkled on top = win (plus what sounds like a billiard sample!)

Nico Purman is my favourite artists from Crosstown Rebels for he just showed me how incredibly good could be minimal music when put in the right hands ! and not that usual perfectly executed tame, lame and dull thing…

and not only for being a newcomer and perfect stranger to me back then – but, i’m telling, it didn’t last ! i then hassled my record seller to get his stuff in !

Take a heavy dosis of average minimal music, add extra layers, some kinda mad tribal percussion… SHAKE WELL !

Pier Bucci is my fave as his choons are smooth min. He played Pressure on friday and his set was all a little bit more playful and minimal than the rest of the lineup which was really refreshing at the time. Shout out magnetic, gimme that album! x
