Here’s the third on our new series of !K7 Records Flavour mixes. Thrown at you fortnightly in a manner designed to get those dancing feet moving and a grooving. This one’s from the DFA, Compost and, of course, !K7, aligned DJ Kaos. Mixed back in 2003 it really does stand the test of time.

DJ Kaos was one half of Berlin duo Ghost Cauldron when he recorded the mix so it’s tenuously relevant this week with it being the lead up to Hallowe’en. The mix features quite a few faces still making great tunes today like Emperor Machine and The Glimmers  and a few genius cuts from pioneers like Yello and DJ Pierre as well as an (at the time) unreleased promo version of !!!’s anti-authoritarian punk-funk hacienda inspired masterpiece, Me and Giuliani Down By The Schoolyard.

Next up, in two weeks time, a brand new mix from the Parisian producer and DJ, Joakim whose latest album, Milky Ways, must be one of the top releases of 2009 so far by far.
