Broken Ear are back. This, the first episode of 2010 features an interview with the wonderful, Bowerbirds and tracks from the likes of Mountains, Mammatus and The Monks. Marvellous
A very rustic feel to a lot of the songs on this episode. I dont know if it has become that way because of the interview with the ever-so-inspiring Bowerbirds; or the fact that that these hands a-typin’ are feeling the onset of the winter chill. Maybe six of one and half a dozen of the other, but lets not veer into mathematical territory…
This baby’s a peach. A peach I say! So it’s been well worth the wait, with particular standouts being Sun Araw, the Algerian Proto-Rai of Bellemou & Benfissa and, as if you cant tell by my inane yakking on about it, Real Estate! Enjoy.
