BBC Radio Scotland Music Bed host Jim Gellatly selects another batch of Scotland’s hottest new tracks.

This time round the former Xfm Scotland man unleashes Edinburgh favourites Broken Records‘ first single for 4AD, indie rock gems from Cancel The Astronauts and Jack Butler, plus some heavenly electro pop with the debut singles from The Lost, Blacktzar and Sugar Crisis.

  1. I’ve seen cancel the astronauts several times on the edinburgh circuit and must admit I’m a huge fan. I love the singers quirky dress sense and energy. The lyrics are honest, funny, sometimes haunting but always very clever! I’ll definitely be looking out for them again.

    You’re in for a surprise when Simple Minds feature in Episode 31 then! Seriously though, it’s a new track whatever the history of the band. Take it you didn’t enjoy that track?
