Jim Gellatly continues to take up the cause for new music in Scotland with an episode heralding A Year Of The Mill.
In just 12 months, The Mill has established itself as one of the most important showcase events in Scotland with an impressive list of rising stars taking to the stage, many of whom have already moved onto the next level. Check this for just a small selection of the bands: Pearl And The Puppets, Twin Atlantic, The Ray Summers, Le Reno Amps, St Deluxe, Eoghan Colgan, Alto Elite, Mitchell Museum, Luva Anna, The Ads, Pooch, Sugar Crisis… in fact, a very healthy dose of bands that have also featured on Jim Gellatly’s New Music!
Jim celebrates A Year Of The Mill featuring some of his own highlights, and giving you the chance to win exclusive CDs recorded at the Glasgow and Edinburgh A Year Of The Mill events.
5 winners will each get a copy of the Glasgow CD and the Edinburgh CD, with live tracks from the likes of Broken Records, Found, We Were Promised Jetpacks & The Ads. Listen to the episode for the question, then email your answer to Jim here.
This competition has now closed and the winners informed. The answer was Jack Vettriano.
