Mixed Bizness is the name of Boom Monk Ben’s weekly club night at The Glasgow School of Art’s notorious Thursday evening parties. Here’s Boom Monk Ben’s set which opened the Sub Club tent on Sunday at RockNess 2009.
Ben, himself, is heavily involved in the Glasgow clubbing scene promoting and organising the bi-monthly How’s Your Party? night at the Sub Club amongst various other projects in the city. Having cemented his position as one of Glasgow’s most popular DJs, Boom Monk Ben’s Mixed Bizness club nights attract substantial crowds of 800 plus to the Glasgow School of Art every Thursday.
The night continues to lead the way in one of the most vibrant and productive club scenes on the planet, catching the attention of clubs nationwide. Special guests gracing the Mixed Bizness stage and sharing the decks with Ben since the night’s inception have included Hint, Jackmaster, A La Fu and Hudson Mohawke to name but a few.
