This is the second Relative Frequency mix which, as you know, are being posted on the site relatively frequently. More new sounds from the past, present and future featured.

The above line graph will help you determine how frequently the average listener is likely to play the mix on a daily basis depending on the height of their favourite polygon in relation to their overall enjoyment of said polygon.

The mix, again, takes in a mixture of styles and ideas highlighted by the atrocious attempts at mixing at certain parts of it but dont let that put you off. We begin with the dirty blues psychedelia of DJ Harvey and Thomas Rub N’ Tug’s Map of Africa outfit, travel through the Parisian streets of Noir Desir to the dirty, deep and soulful house of the Motor City Drum Ensemble ending with the Italo jazz prog-up of an extended dance remix of Jean Luc Ponty’s Open Minds. These open minds of which Jean Luc Ponty speaks are the key to happiness and enjoyment of this musical selection.

Go on girl. Give it a whirl.
