This July Brighton plays host to Loop Festival with possibly the best lineup we’ve seen for a small festival in 2009.

So impressive is the lineup that we have to get some of our loyal listeners through the doors to check it out. The full lineup is below but highlights include Fever Ray (one half of The Knife), Matthew Herbert, Squarepusher, Joakim, Tunng, The Invisible and Zomby. Well done Loop!

The festival takes place in the centre of Brighton and follows a similar set up to Sonar. For those that haven’t been to either, Loop Loud kicks off with a special show from Matthew Herbert on Friday Night. Saturday and Sunday are then split into Loop Live (day time) and Loop Late (night time). There’s even a selection of seminars and demos that provide some education in amongst all the music.
