The next Tune Up Tour of 2010 sees contemporary music ensemble, the Red Note Ensemble’s reinterpretation of the classic modernist poem, A Drunk Man Looks At The Thistle by Hugh MacDiarmid. The tour kicked off on Thursday 3 June at The Tolbooth in Stirling.

The Red Note Ensemble, directed by John Harris and Robert Irvine, is a newly-formed professional music ensemble, dedicated to contemporary music. In this podcast we chat to John Harris as well as the conductor Jessica Cottis and narrator, Crawford Logan about the music involved, the original poem and the forthcoming tour.
