Episode #12 of Jim Gellatly’s New Music finds Jim reminiscing about the latest Next Big Thing event in Glasgow, and looking forward to Edinburgh’s first Next Big Thing showcase.

This latest musical journey of discovery, navigated by Scotland’s “Voice of New Music”, also includes one of New York’s hottest new acts, one of Jim’s all time favourites, and a couple of brand new bands getting their first airing.

    For the xmas shows, it’s got to be Dumb Instrument’s Dear Santa- they’re great pals of ours so we’re a bit biased, but it’s clearly the finest xmas song in the world ever. Honest.
