Welcome to The Charge Episode 17 …. After a week that has featured performances in Scotland from both Judas Priest and Iron Maiden within the space of two days …we’re breathless and ready to relax by the fire with a glass of Glenlivet, a cigar and some thrash metal 
We are focussing on some of the amazing new live gigs about to hit these shores within the next few months, for the first time since we began we will not feature any interviews however nearly all of the artists included are playing in the UK over the next few months and are more than deserving of your ears!! Get along and support all of these awesome artists!
In Scotland in particular we have some amazing artists playing here … to name but a few… ‘deep breath’… TesseracT, Chimp Spanner, The Ocean, Alises, Reckless Love, White Wizzard, Jettblack, Abandon Ships, Dead By April, Machine ‘F##kin’ Head, Opeth, Sylosis… OUCH! My neck is hurting just thinking about these!
We feature some incredible new music in 17 from such seasoned pros as Devin Townsend, Machine Head, and Arch Enemy; as well as newer upstarts like Reckless Love, Dead By April, Visions and 7 Horns 7 Eyes!! We keep adding to our list of albums of the year with yet another contender in Conjure & Command (pictured), the new ‘thrashterpiece’ by the magnificent Toxic Holocaust and a little known band named Metal Licka… or something like that… they sound like they could have a future!!
