Orbit – Rhea: Feat. We Were Promised Jetpacks, For Abel and Girls

Rhea is the second largest moon of Saturn named after the mother of the gods in Greek mythology and this week’s Orbit, in a sense, is the metaphorical mother of new releases. We slave away listening to all the new music that comes into the Radio Magnetic inbox, choosing our favourites and releasing them into the world via the medium of podcast, to stand alone and be judged by the world. Ok well maybe I’m stretching this metaphor a wee bit far but we certainly do have some great new releases for you this week in the form of Laura Gibson, Dillon and a very special song of the week from The Black Keys. So I’ll say to you just as my mother always said to me “Put that down! You don’t know where it’s been!” and once again let us take you into our orbit.
