Welcome to the first episode of the new Acid Flash radio show by IDA. In the first episode, I will be playing the first hour and the second hour is a guest mix from Giles. We will be going through genres like acid, breakbeat, electro, house and techno. Giles is a DJ, promoter and radio host based in Edinburgh. Giles Walker started out as a b-boy dj a long time ago, however, his taste has always been broad due to a side job sourcing vinyl for a record dealer. Giles has supported a several Hip Hop and DMC related DJs in the early days of his dj career, although nowadays you’ll mostly find him playing House, Techno, Electro and old Rave 12″s and oddball dance records at a number of clubs and festivals. Only last year, he has played festivals such as Bestival, Field Day, Lost Village and The Mighty Hoopla, just to name a few.
